On December 27, a dramatic standoff occurred on Houston's I-10 East Freeway involving a truck driver and SWAT team. Authorities have identified the driver as Trinidad Cutshall, 42.
Incident Overview: The ordeal began around 1 p.m. when an officer spotted what appeared to be a stalled 18-wheeler. The truck driver, upon noticing law enforcement, began to move, weaving through lanes.
Standoff and Resolution: After spike strips halted the truck, a standoff ensued, leading to the freeway closure. The SWAT team, using "The Rook," entered the truck's cab around 3:30 p.m. Cutshall was extracted and later treated for injuries.
