The Los Angeles Major Crimes Bureau and Cargo Theft Task Force scored a big win on January 31, recovering $5 million worth of stolen goods.
Key Details:
Detectives began an investigation into a stolen load of 58" flat-screen televisions, leading them to a location in San Bernardino, California.
Additional Stolen Trailers: Trailers found containing various loads like fertilizer, Yamaha home theater systems, hand wipes, Unifi computer chips, energy drinks, and more.
Over 130,000 pounds of copper and brass, valued at over $1.2 million, were also recovered.
A stash of 10 firearms and 50 new big rig tires was seized.
This investigation is ongoing.
