Haney and White, a Kentucky-based 3PL, has claimed it stake in the Southeast logistics scene. They've acquired B.R. Williams Trucking and LTL, creating a new entity: BRW.
B.R. Williams, a family-owned operation since 1958, brings significant assets to the table. Haney and White, previously asset-light, now controls a substantial fleet and warehouse network. A 3PL acquiring a major asset-based carrier is an unusual move in the industry, however it seems the move has benefited all parties involved so far.
BRW aims to dominate the I-65 corridor from Indiana to Florida.
