The latest freight market update by Greenscreens.ai, dated June 2nd, 2023, reveals the leading lane movers based on the 30-day trend for the average rate per mile for dry vans. For the Ontario, CA - Reno, NV lane, covering an average distance of 472 miles, the 30-day average rate was $3.05 per mile, marking a 7.8% increase. The Ontario, CA - Salt Lake City, UT lane, averaging 582 miles, also saw a 7.8% increase from its 30-day average rate of $2.99 per mile. The rate for the Dallas, TX - Lubbock, TX route, averaging 333 miles, rose by 3.4% from its 30-day average of $2.77. Conversely, the Stockton, CA - Ontario, CA route, with an average length of 369 miles, saw its 30-day average rate of $1.74 per mile decrease by 37%.
