E86: The Edge Logistics Story with William Kerr

We recently had the opportunity to sit with William Kerr, President, and CEO of Edge Logistics. His company provides an array of innovative logistics solutions backed by technology for carriers and shippers. Edge Logistics Through the Years 2014-2015: started operations out of a double-wide trailer in Brooklyn, New York, ending the year with over $1m in sales. The first full year of operations ended with $10m in sales. 2017-2018: Relocated to their current headquarters in Chicago. The end of 2018 saw $50m in revenue. 2019: Launched their digital freight-matching platform “Capacity.” 2020-2021: The company saw revenue at $71.5 for 2020; in 2021, it jumped to $137.9m. 2022: Edge Logistics projects revenue to hit around $150-160m this year and have additional offices in Detroit, Phoenix, and Barranquilla, Colombia.
