TIA Releases Updated Broker-Carrier Model Contract
The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) unveils its latest Broker-Carrier model contract, addressing the logistics industry's evolving legal and insurance challenges.
The following is a press release directly from TIA's media team.
Alexandria, VA (October 11, 2023) – The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) is pleased to announce the release of their updated Broker-Carrier model contract, a key resource in our exclusive collection of contracts designed specifically for TIA members.
The updated model contract has been carefully drafted and is the result of an initiative launched by the TIA Contracts Committee earlier this year. Their objective was to guarantee that the contract contained the most up-to-date and relevant terms and conditions, with an emphasis on addressing evolving challenges in the legal and insurance landscapes that directly affect the third-party logistics industry and TIA members.
“TIA is honored to offer this member benefit and equip our members with invaluable resources that empower their operations,” said Chris Burroughs, Vice President of Government Affairs for TIA. “I applaud the Contracts Committee and the leadership of Chairman James Lee for their tireless efforts in ensuring that our members always have access to the most current and effective model agreements.”
