DAT Solutions and digital freight brokerage Convoy have dismissed their lawsuits against each other, following a confidential out-of-court settlement. The legal battle, which began in January 2022, revolved around allegations of breach of contract and theft of trade secrets from DAT, and counterclaims of illegal trade restraint by Convoy. The recent agreement leaves DAT's noncompete and exclusivity clauses formally intact but the implications for current DAT customers remain uncertain.

Β In one of the most watched lawsuits in freight tech, Convoy and DAT have settled their lawsuit.

The momentum was on Convoy's side which made a substantial anti-trust claim, which would have been far more damaging to DAT's business had they won in court. https://t.co/KnczhxuLHoβ€” Craig Fuller πŸ›©πŸš›πŸš‚βš“οΈ (@FreightAlley) July 17, 2023Β
