At the Otay Mesa entry point, what seemed like a tangy shipment of Persian limes turned out to be a cover for a cocaine haul worth over $3 million.
Detection: The tractor-trailer was pulled over for secondary inspection when a K-9 unit alerted officers to further inspect the shipment.
The Find: Hidden among the citrus, 158 packages of cocaine weighing 435 pounds.
Street Value: A total of $3,355,800.

The seizure is part of Operation Apollo, a combined force aiming to squeeze out the threat of fentanyl and other illicit drugs.
