Philadelphia's string of cargo thefts continues with the latest incident involving the theft of $20,000 worth of frozen meat.
Thieves targeted refrigerated trucks awaiting early morning deliveries to Quaker Foods, resulting in the loss of several meat pallets.

This event marks a growing trend in the city, with cargo thefts rising from 100 in 2019 to 257 in 2023. No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing as this becomes the tenth reported theft this year.
