Russia Halts Ukraine's Grain Export

Russia has halted the Black Sea Grain Initiative, a critical deal allowing Ukraine to export grain to hunger-stricken regions, exacerbating the global food crisis. The decision, awaiting fulfillment of demands for Russian food and fertilizer distribution globally, has led to a surge in wheat prices and could potentially increase food insecurity. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, however, vowed to continue the initiative, even without Russia's assurances.
